In partnership with African Centre for Parliamentary Affairs, KYPA has conducted numerous capacity building sessions to train and empower Youth Serving Organizations (YSOs)representatives on advocacy and accountability. Particularly, these youth have been trained on statements, memorandum, and petition writing and submission. The YSOs have been trained to participate in the budget making cycle ensuring youth interests are clearly indicated and budgeted in the budget as well as ensuring Gender Responsive Budgeting for inclusion purposes. So far, 10 YSO’s have been trained and in return, they have contributed to the development of a total of 5 bills both in the National Assembly and the Senate
